UPTOWN SQUARES is a fun and educational board game that celebrates Black history, finances, money management, and entrepreneurship. It is similar to Monopoly but with a unique twist!
In this game, players buy stores, houses, and churches like in Monopoly, but they also have the opportunity to earn money by answering trivia questions related to Black history. With each correct answer, players earn cash and gain a deeper understanding of the important contributions that Black people have made throughout history. But that's not all – our board game also teaches players important financial and entrepreneurial skills. Players must manage their money wisely and make strategic investments in order to win the game. It's a great way to teach financial literacy and money management in a fun and engaging way.
It teaches:
Black History
When a player lands on an Uptown Squares Check Card, the player must correctly answer the Black History trivia question and the player will collect the money shown on the card.
Money Management
When the player stops on an Uptown Squares BankCard, the player will either collect the amount of money on the BankCard or pay the required fees, taxes, or penalties.
Entrepreneurship
The player learns that as entrepreneurs owning stores, houses, churches and buildings in their community is the only way to "Build A Better Community With Our Own Money".
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Venmo. At this time we are unable to accept checks, e-currency, or any other forms of payment.

In stock items are processed and shipped within 3-10 business days.
You will receive a confirmation email when we receive your order. If you do not receive the confirmation message within a short time of placing your order, please check your Spam or Junk folder just in case the confirmation email got delivered there instead of your inbox. If so, make sure you mark the confirmation as Not Spam, which should allow future messages to get through to you. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking information.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will facilitate a refund or exchange.
Return requests must be submitted within 15 days of delivery.
Returned items must be in their original packaging, unopened. (i.e. shrink wrap intact) and in the same condition they were delivered in.
PETT-A-WAY Inc. does not cover shipping costs on returns.
We recommend that you insure your shipment. You will not be reimbursed for an item that PETT-A-WAY Inc. does not receive.
